Describe your style?
Personal Storytelling. My nightmare is a soul-less model home. I love getting to know people's habits and idiosyncrasies. Everyone has specific rituals or quirks in their home and discovering that is very exciting. There is of course an aesthetic component. I gravitate towards, clean eclecticism, but creation is always grounded in the personality of the client and the reality of the interior.

You speak a lot about collaboration with clients. What does that look like? My favorite moment is when a client has a concept in mind but has difficulty translating. When I describe my interpretation and I see the lightbulb go off that's when I know we have something special. When we have design meetings we don't just speak about interiors or furnishings. Music, art, film, sex - it's all on the table.

Are you inspired by other designers? Enzo Mari is my biggest design crush at the moment. His democratization of furniture and transparency in design is rare. I wish there was more of that in the industry. I think (almost) everyone should try making his Sedia 1 chair. This website is incredible and the process is a way to connect to pieces in your home. It's super fun!

Do you think interior design is an accessible service?
Interior design is a form of self-care. I believe it to be just as valuable as a healthy diet or fitness regimen. Because of that, I wanted to offer a service that was more a-la-carte and could be flexible in terms of how much involvement my clients wanted or could afford. No huge retainers. No minimum spend, just creating interiors that will foster compelling stories.

What is a dream buy for you?
